Horrorfield is an arena mixed with survivors looking to make it out alive and a psycho looking to ensure that no one makes it out alive. The best thing about the game is that you can choose which side you want to be on. You can choose to be the hunter or the hunted.
SURVIVOR TIPS:
As a survivor, the ultimate goal is to escape. The only way to escape is to repair the five generators that power up the gates. Once the generators are fixed, the gates open and you can escape.
The generators are usually found in buildings close to the gates so make sure you start by looking there. However, there is a psycho on the loose that wants to capture you and destroy your generators. This means that you have to be careful while repairing the generators.
Safety in numbers?
In the game, there are 5 survivors looking to make it out. Working as a team can have its advantages and disadvantages. It is for you to weigh the situation and make a decision.
As a team, you can complete tasks faster. You can repair the generators faster and you can heal wounded teammates. On the downside, moving as a team can make you an easier target for the psycho.
To save your teammate or not?
You will be faced with a situation where you need to save your teammate. However, it might not be the best decision. The psycho might use your captured teammate as bait to lure you into a trap.
You should also remember that a captured teammate leaves a trail that the psycho can follow. You will have to be very cunning for you to escape after you have been captured.
Be smart with equipment.
The game allows you to carry 4 items. Carry things such as energy drinks and lock picks. A lock-pick will help you get out of a cage and the energy drink will give you that extra boost of energy you’ll need to escape the psycho.
PSYCHO TIPS:
The psycho’s goal is to make sure that no one gets out.
Be careful with your attacks.
Once the psycho takes a swing, he pauses for a little bit. This pause gives the survivor a window for them to escape. If you miss, the survivor will have a higher chance of escaping.
You can throw rocks at the survivors to slow them down. This will injure them and increase the chances of a successful attack.
Break down doors.
Break down doors whenever you can. The survivors like to hide in buildings with locked doors. If you breakdown the doors, you’ll give the survivors little chance of escape.
Visit the dark smithy.
As a psycho, you should make the dark smithy your friend. There are many awesome tools that you can make to make killing faster and more enjoyable.
