Developed by NGEL Games, this high-quality turn-based game is a unique and bold idea, considering that it’s the first to ever combine three stories in one.

Even though Hero Cantare is derived from several webcomics, it was still admirably synchronized. With cutscenes appearing like they were ripped straight from the source pages, the comic-style atmosphere is presented well using alluring 2D art and graphics.

The characters have detailed animations, and the visuals always stick to the original art style of Webtoon. Its striking, full-fledged soundtrack is very fit for the game’s mood, making it more engaging.

Gameplay

Starting out in Hero Cantare is pretty refreshing. Unlike many RPG, there are no lengthy tutorials you need to complete before you experience the real thrill of the game. The game’s tutorial can be achieved easily, along with a free pull, within less than five minutes.

With a simple but tactical turn-based combat system, you can manage a squad of four characters, two in front and two in the back. On battle, you will plot your team’s attacks by stacking chains of up to three cards to use a hero skill. Your move will have different effects depending on your chain, but the longer it is, the more mana it will consume.

Aside from the traditional 1v1, you can choose Team mode, which lets you use 12 heroes separated into three teams. Each team will battle another player’s heroes in turns.

Get to know your heroes by playing their individual stories. A webcomic comes with each account.

• Trial Tower

Climb up to the high floors by completing numerous challenges with your team and earn bountiful rewards.

• Advent Boss

Fight three kinds of powerful bosses: Phoenix, Salamander, and Kuvara.

Tips and Tricks

You can get a headstart by rerolling. If you don’t get one of the strongest heroes, reset your data and repeat the tutorial until you get what you need.

To level up your heroes faster, send them on City Search. This strategy is very convenient as it can still work even when you log off from Hero Cantare.

Unit star levels can be upgraded with Memory. A better version of this is Memory Stones, which can be exchanged for character pieces. You can obtain them from the Dimension Gap and when achieving high scores in completing stages.
