ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest Review, Main Features, Gameplay and Video
The game is based on a gacha/card format and gave out a top-level in-game reward for the people who pre-registered, which gives them a large leg over people who didn’t. Overall though, this game is a big leg up from all the other ONE PUNCH MAN related games out, check out the features we discuss below:
If you are a fan of ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest series, then this game most likely would be worth it just for the story mode feature. The faithful viewer will recognize much of it and most likely will enjoy the experience of playing through it. As always, story mode makes you feel as if you are part of the game yourself.
This game offers a PVP feature just like many of the gacha games. There is the Fight Arena or tournaments where you go to prove how well balanced your characters are and win rewards. Unlock this by leveling up initially.
Extreme Trial (Endless tower mode)
Once you feel you become powerful enough, there is the Extreme Trial feature, in which, you beat the bosses to get the rewards and move on to the next stage. There is no “beating” this feature, but it becomes a good gauge of how your team-building works out.
Why Gacha Games
Gacha games are capsule-toy vending machine games, or for better a better explanation, they are loot box driven games. Which have become very normalized right now in the fandom universe of phone games. It means that you will have a harder time progressing. Some would argue they enjoy gacha features since it’s very structured and based on chance. ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest does do a good job balancing the completion, unlike some of their counterparts.
ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest allows in-game purchases and uses its own currency system. There is a store inside the game in which you go and can buy items, there is a premium currency (gold bars) and a normal currency earned through gameplay. Overall, the gacha system incentives you to spend money.
What ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest offers isn’t the best gacha based game out there, but if you are a fan of the series then it does do justice. The story mode is fantastic, and the PVP mode is the best one out there for ONE PUNCH MAN related games. Of course, the main downfall of any gacha game is to progress to end game content you most likely will need to spend money. But that is all based on the type of person you are. Thus, if you are a fan of ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest then you will most likely enjoy this game.
