Cookie Jam Blast is just like every other stuff-matching puzzle that can keep anybody with OCD occupied for hours on end. Just don&#8217;t expect a life-changing gaming experience.<\/p>\n<p>This game is well polished though. It&#8217;s got nice graphics, interesting characters and the kind of animation that makes you want to smile. It even brings a few new elements to the genre, something that most game developers are too lazy to do.<\/p>\n<h3>Gameplay<\/h3>\n<p>Despite a few catchy new elements, there&#8217;s nothing spectacular here. If you already enjoy such games then you&#8217;ll give it some of your time however it&#8217;s not going to bring any new players to the field.<\/p>\n<p>Gameplay is a simple as moving a few tiles around. They disappear from the grid every time that you match three together however clearing the tiles from the grid is not your only objective. You also want to get rid of the waffles that are at the bottom.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the objectives are a little weird and make no sense. For example, you&#8217;ll need to get as many energy points as possible to help the cute blob-like thing make it across a path towards the ice cream van and sometimes you&#8217;ll need to plan your grid-clearing maneuvers to release another character trapped behind a waffle.<\/p>\n<p>The drawback is that you only have set number number moves for each level and you get fewer and fewer moves as the levels advance. You&#8217;ll have to start the level all over again if you run out of moves or part with a few coins to get few bonus moves.<\/p>\n<h3>The Good<\/h3>\n<p>The kitchen is one the unique aspects of this Cookie Jam Blast for PC. In here you get to whip up few tasty treats that help you with bonuses. It serves as a great side-job that helps you gain more stars to help you in the main game.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, of the elements come together quite well. The controls are nice and simple and there&#8217;s never a moment where the game leaves you wondering what you&#8217;re supposed to do next.<\/p>\n<h3>The Bad<\/h3>\n<p>Then main problem is that you&#8217;re probably going to get bored really fast. The new elements are welcomed but they are not enough to keep you hooked for long. And that&#8217;s not even when you consider how the difficulty spikes seemingly out of nowhere.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>The new ideas in Cookie Jam Blast aren&#8217;t revolutionary enough to change the basic outlook of the game. They&#8217;re all just gimmicks which fade away after a while when you realize that you&#8217;re just doing the same thing over and over again.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Cookie Jam Blast is likely to do really well. The casual gamers that it&#8217;s aimed at are sure to lap it up at first before moving on to the next shiny new thing. Mobile gamers are not known to have the longest attention spans so this game is the perfect filler until they find a game that really makes them interested.<\/p>\n<p>Cookie Jam Blast for PC would have been a massive hit a few years ago but we don&#8217;t live in that time anymore.
