Rumble Stars is not your ordinary soccer game. The players are different and the teams are different. It is an arcade soccer game with a fun twist.
This game will not appeal to you if you are a soccer purist. The players are actually animals known as Rumblers. The Rumblers are pretty skillful and they can pull off some crazy moves.
The Rumblers are just like ordinary soccer players in the sense that each Rumbler has its own strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. You get to advance in leagues as you win more matches.
It is a fun game but it can get frustrating if you are not familiar with the basics. Here are some of the basics that will help you through the game.
Understand the Basics
The basics of this game will confuse you especially if you are used to regular soccer. The players in each team are 8. You will get to play against another 8-player team controlled by a different person.
The person you play with is on the same level as you. You don’t have to worry about playing a player on a higher level. You win a game by scoring three points.
If the scores are tied, you will go into overtime and the winner will be the one with the highest points once overtime is over.
Scoring goals is just like in normal soccer. You have to aim and shoot at certain angles for you to score. Tactics also have a role to play in whether you will be successful.
Each team has 8 players but you can only pick 4 at a time. You have to pick the best four players depending on the play you are executing. Remember that different players have different strengths and weaknesses so picking the right players can be crucial.
The Rumblers
In total, there are 19 players that you can get to unlock. The players are divided between attackers and defenders.
Each attacker has different stats when it comes to stamina, speed, and shot Power. It is for you to choose the best striker depending on stats. For example, if you are playing counter-attack, it is more sensible for you to choose an attacker with more speed and stamina rather than shot power.
The same goes with defenders. Each defender will suit a particular situation depending on the defender’s stats. It is for you as a manager to know the best player for every situation.
Upgrade your players
The game affords you currency after every win that you can use to upgrade players. The currency comes in the form of Chests which you can open to earn coins and gems.
You should resist the urge to use gems to open the Chests. Gems are the game’s premier currency and you should try to use them wisely.
There are also Sponsor Chests that unlock after 4 hours of gaming. There are also Goal Chests which are offered to you every time you score 10 goals. These chests offer more than the regular chests and they represent the best chance for you to unlock a new Rumbler.
